Plutarch's Lives

Plutarch's Lives is a book about Greek people. Most of them are in wars or are jealous. Some of them are royalty. And there is adventure and much more danger in Themistocles, Pericles, Astrides and Alcibiades adventures. Themistocles wasn't entirely Greek, but his story started in Greece and ended in it. Plutarch's guess is that he's probably half Greek and half Thracian. Themistocles had many attempts on his life. He was an Athenian.
Pericles was Greek and royalty. He was taught music by Damon . He was also very wealthy and proud. He is Roman by birth.
Astrides was a rival of Themistocles and always accused of things he didn’t do. But
their rivalry was forced to end when they fought barbarians in defense of the Greek
city , Attica. He enjoyed parties and festivals.
Alcibiades’s grandfather was Ajax, who fought in Trojan and Greek war, better known
as the Illiad. Alcibiades was proud and wealthy enough to by a private army. Some people would ridicule him in public, like Aristophanes. He was also taught, like Pericles
to play the flute and is Greek by birth.
This is about all I know about Plutarch’s Lives about Themistocles, Pericles, Astrides, and, Alcibiades adventures, wars, and their many journeys in ancient Greece.
