Ancient Greece

Ancient Greece
In ancient Greece people worshiped gods. Their names were Zeus, Hera, Aphrodite, Ares, Posiedon, Hades, Hephaestus,Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Athena, Demeter, and Dionysus. Each god or goddess was different. Zeus, Hades, and, Poseidon were all brothers. They decided who would get the Sky, the Sea, and the Underworld. Zeus the Sky, Poseidon the Sea, and Hades the Underworld.
There were also the demigods and heroes of ancient Greece. One was both of these. His name was Hercules. He had incredible strength. There also was Odysseus. He helped fight Troy and rescue Helen. Theseus killed the Minotaur, a fearsome monster. Perseus killed Medusa, whose very look could turn men into stone. Many others did other things Monsters and other things were terrible creatures such as the Minotaur with the Chimera , the Boar of Calydon, Medusa, the Sphinx, and Typhoon. Most monsters were a mixture of various creatures, such as the Chimera.
